Where We Stand

Clear positions matter. These are the commitments we bring to candidates, public policy, and local Republican organizing.

Foreign policy

An America First foreign policy puts the safety, liberty, and prosperity of the American people ahead of abstract global commitments. We support peace through strength, secure borders, fair burden sharing, and a clear national-interest test for the use of American power.

Immigration

The United States has the sovereign right to decide who enters, who remains, and at what scale. We support ending illegal immigration, enforcing existing law, prioritizing citizens, and sharply limiting and reforming legal immigration to protect wages, security, assimilation, and national cohesion.

Family

We support marriage between one man and one woman, the rights of parents, policies that make family formation more attainable, and protections that keep adult ideology and irreversible decisions away from children.

Local government

Plano and Collin County should be safe, fiscally disciplined, family-friendly, transparent, and responsive to residents. We will take positions when local decisions affect those commitments.

Positions should lead to action.

Plano YR may endorse candidates, publish issue statements, organize volunteers, and work with aligned Republicans across the city and state.
